Starting Easter 2025
We are starting workshops this Easter
We are offering a brand new service for the upcoming Easter holidays.
Come and help us design our dedicated outdoor area, learn about the outdoors and the nature that surrounds us. We will be using nature and foraging to create our arts and crafts. We will learn how to make our own paints and paintbrushes. Lots of exciting activities to do!!

Three planned activities every session plus learn how to cook crumpets on an open fire. Enjoy a warm drink and crumpets and fruit at the end of every session. (Please inform us of any dietary requirements).

Explore the bug world, and mini wildlife pond.
Explore the sensory tent for some time out if needed.
Enjoy climbing and balancing.

Sessions are designed to create interest in our natural world, learn new skills and independence in a safe controlled manner.

Children age 4yrs - 12 yrs
£15 per session

Children will need appropiate footwear (Trainers or Wellies), warm clothes and coats. We will be staying out in all weathers, although we do have shelter. You may bring a change of clothes in a bag. Please ensure all items of clothes are labelled, including coats. Please bring a carrier bag with your child's name to take home artwork.

Parents are welcome to stay if needed. Please drop off your and collect your child on time, to enable us to cram as much in as possible!

Follow our renovation
Currently I am studying to be a certified outdoor therapeutic practitioner. I will finish this training by February. I will be using this time to put together teaching plans, looking for financial funding, as well as renovating the landscape. Currently it is very overgrown!
The Ferry Boat Inn was at the heart of the community back in the 1700 - 1995. Although it is now our home, I still have the same working goals, in which I want Ferry Boat Arts to be at the heart of the community. Spending time within an outdoor environment is therapeutic and restorative in itself, coupled with the therapeutic value of creativity, participants will be able to focus on their wellbeing holistically.
