I was lucky enough to be invited by West Wales River Trust to hold children's workshops. The theme was of course the river, so we made dragonflies and a life cycle of a frog. The children had a great time making these. I also set up a sensory play area, with the river and wood with insects. The children could use magnifying glasses to take a closer look at the patterns on the insects. We set up lots of facts about insects, and frogs.
